Hey! I’m Asher Khan, a Software Engineer working on ML systems and LLMs. I focus on model architecture, quantization, inference, and optimization. I come from a multimodal ML and deep learning background, and I like to ship things. I’ve worked as a software and machine learning engineer at companies like Ericsson, as an AI researcher at Algoverse, and on freelance full-stack and ML projects across a range of fields.
Dreaming up cool ideas and making them come true is where my passion lies. I am enthusiastic about exploring, and applying machine learning to benefit society, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Outside of programming, I enjoy exploring new cuisines and capturing moments through photography. In my spare time, I often read books, watch films, stay active at the gym, and play sports such as intramural football or volleyball.
My next step is a Master’s focused on AI, with the goal of building applied ML in industry as an MLE / SWE. I’m based in Toronto and always open to networking or grabbing coffee. Feel free to reach out!
